Reflective Practice for Funeral Celebrants
‘Self-care is not optional’
Free of Charge
These free sessions on ‘Reflective Practice for Funeral Celebrants’ follow on from the Funeral Celebrancy Diploma course;
The workshop sessions are for any practicing celebrant who has obtained the NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Funeral Celebrancy with us.
You are invited to consider and discuss your experiences of dealing with funerals and reflect on your own practice. Aspects of self-care, relaxation, work-life balance, saying ‘No’, are covered as well as coping with the most difficult of funerals, while looking after your own mental health.
It doesn’t matter whether you trained recently or a long time ago, you are most welcome.
The sessions are run by Nicola Hallett and Lorraine Inglis, tutors and assessors on our residential courses, who come from successful nursing backgrounds as well as being highly experienced funeral celebrants.
The sessions are offered quarterly, just ask us for the Zoom link
You can attend all the sessions or just some of them.
Session times and dates:

Here are a selection of the comments we have received after the first few reflective practice sessions…
I really enjoyed the latest session and felt it was truly beneficial for all concerned. I am already looking forward to the next one.
Just to say I really got a lot out of the zoom call Thursday, it’s good to hear other celebrants talking about their experiences and to know we are not alone.
I really appreciated the zoom call last night. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn from all the celebrants there. I will certainly aim to always attend and I look forward to the next one.
Thank you for the well being session last night on zoom. I thoroughly enjoyed it and took lots from it.
