Child and Baby Funerals
Creating and Conducting Child and Baby Funerals
There is a need for very special funerals when a child or baby has died. Therefore we have developed training that helps Funeral Celebrants in creating and delivering these very difficult and emotional funeral ceremonies.
Who is the Course for?
We are pleased to continue to offer our popular training course on child and baby funerals. This course is for any practicing celebrant who would like to know how best to work alongside beareaved parents and create and deliver an appropriate and unique ceremony for their child or baby.
Duration
The course is delivered online via Zoom in two 3 hour sessions, which run in the evening on two consecutive days from 6:00 to 9:00pm. The first session focuses very much on understanding and being able to work with bereaved parents and the second session is all about obtaining information, creating and delivering an appropriate ceremony.
By the end of the training you will have learnt:
- To understand the grieving process that bereaved parents experience.
- How to sensitively interview bereaved parents.
