How to Book your Naming and Couples Celebrancy Training

Contact us in the first instance on 01480 276080

Decide the date of the residential course you prefer
Decide if you are going to take out an Advanced Learner Loan or self-fund your training
(Note: You really need to receive the distance learning at least 9 weeks before the residential course)

Call us and arrange to receive the application form and writing exercise.
(A link will be emailed to you, enabling you to log in to our online training hub.)

If your application is successful, we offer you a place on the course and confirm your residential course dates.

If you are taking the Advanced Learner Loan

Fill in your course enrolment forms on our training hub. We will then email your Advanced Learner Loan Letter for you to appy for your loan.

APPLY FOR YOUR LOAN ONLINE AS SOON AS YOU RECEIVE THESE DETAILS
YOU CAN NOT APPLY BEFORE THIS

SEND OFF PROOF OF IDENTITY REQUIRED TO THE STUDENT LOAN COMPANY – IT IS NOT ENOUGH TO JUST APPLY ONLINE
When your loan is approved we will post you the distance learning workbook and then email you the answer books. You should receive a confirmation letter from the Student Loan Company in the post within two weeks.

Send in completed distance learning by email at least 3 weeks before the residential course.

Two weeks before the course you pay £350 (£291.67 + vat) (not covered by the Advanced Learner Loan) and will receive joining instructions

Attend the residential course

If you are self-funding

Pay the full amount of the distance learning + half the residential course:

£1655 (£1379.17 + vat)

(We will send a full invoice/receipt.)

Fill in the enrolment forms on our training hub.

We then send you the Distance Learning Workbook so you can start your training

On receipt, we will email you the answer book to complete.

Send in your completed distance learning by email at least 3 weeks before the residential course.

Two weeks before the course you receive joining instructions and the final invoice for £920 (£766.67+ vat) payable before the course starts.

Advanced Learner Loans Available

        IT Skills you will need both during your training and working as a celebrant

        Do you have the following skills:

        1. Ability in creating, naming, using, saving and retrieving files and folders.
        2. Familiarity with using your version of Word (or similar software).
        3. Understanding of toolbars and icons.
        4. Ability to copy and paste sections of text.
        5. An understanding of ‘track changes’ and how to use this function.
        6. Ability to bold, underline and italicise text.
        7. Be able to change font type, size and colour.
        8. Ability to centre text in the middle of a page and right and left justify it.
        9. Be able to alter line spacing in a document and insert a page break.
        10. Be able to use the undo and redo functions.
        11. Understand how the tab key works.
        12. Ability to use headers and footers, bullet points and numbering
        13. Understanding of the difference between ‘Save’ and ‘Save As’.

        If you said ‘yes’ to all of the above then you have good basic skills.

        If you have answered ‘no’ to any of the above then you will need to improve your basic skills before starting the course. This can be done in a few hours by using one or more of the free online tutorials available on the internet.
