* Note  - There is a £50 discount on fees if you have achieved the Level 3 Diploma in Funeral Celebrancy with Civil Ceremonies Ltd in the last 5 years.

Residential Dates

 

Residential course is 4.5 days

Starting at 3:00pm on Monday and finishing at 4:00pm on Friday.

 

Covid-19 and the residential training course:

We are taking bookings for training courses through the summer months and we hope that by this stage our hotel will be back up and running for the residential part of the course. Should they not be, you would either have the option to postpone until another course date or carry out your training online, which we will discuss with you if the need arises.

Important Notes

  • Stage 1 to be completed before stage 2 begins.
  • Stage 2 residential training starts at 3pm on the Monday and finishes at 4pm on the Friday at Highgate House, Creaton, Northants
  • Cancellation insurance is available to self funders and details will be sent to you on booking.

You will receive confirmation of your place on the residential training course at the time you receive your distance learning materials.
Please consider your residential course dates carefully as cancellation fees apply.
If you are being funded by a government scheme, it is very difficult to change course dates.
If you are unable to attend the residential training course that you have booked please let us know as soon as possible.

*Note - If you are a member of the armed forces wishing to use ELC credits, please call us for a breakdown of fees excluding accommodation and food.

Diploma Courses

Cancellation up to 2 weeks of the start of the residential course

All original distance learning materials must be returned and 50% of the course fee is applied.

Cancellation less than 2 weeks of the start of the residential course

100% fee will apply.

One day training courses

Cancellation up to 2 weeks

50% of the course fee will apply.

Cancellation of less than 2 weeks

100% of the course fee will apply.

CCL reserves the right to consider each case on its own merit for cancellation and will take into account the reason for the cancellation. They will consider circumstances where a legal requirement restricts attendance, such as jury service or a court appearance (proof in the form of documentation will be required). Postponement may also be considered where a learner or close relative (parent, child, or sibling) has suffered a serious illness or accident (a medical confirmation document will be required) or in the instance of death of a close relative (parent,child or sibling). Each case will be considered separately. This could mean a postponement to a later course and can only be considered for one occasion.
