Standard Naming Ceremony

Our Ceremony logoOnce booked, you can make your Standard Naming Ceremony choices totally online using our online system.

You can log in and make all your choices, sending them to us when complete.

You can select readings and poems from our online library and your whole ceremony will be created for you to see and print.

The Standard Ceremony provides an affordable opportunity to welcome your new arrival with your family and friends.

This is a beautiful ceremony incorporating all the most popular elements from all the naming ceremonies we have delivered over the last 18 years.  All you have to do is include your personal information and make some choices and your ceremony is created right in front of your eyes!

The ceremony usually lasts around 20 minutes and contains:

  • Opening Words
  • First Reading (Optional – selected from 6 suitable pieces)
  • Naming of the Child(ren)
  • Parents’ Promises
  • Parent’s Vow to each other (Optional)
  • Supporting Adults’ Promises
  • Grandparents’ Promises (Optional)
  • Final Reading (Optional – selected from 6 suitable pieces)
  • Closing Words
  • Signing a commemorative certificate

One of our trained Celebrants will conduct your ceremony, or you may wish to take advantage of our ‘Script Only’ service (click here) and someone you know can conduct the ceremony for you.
