The Celebrants we have trained and qualified are creating positive change in the way ceremonies are conducted in the UK today. You will become immersed in a comprehensive learning experience that has been designed to prepare you for a successful new career in a growing profession.

Civil Ceremonies Ltd have specialised in celebrancy training since we were founded in 2002 and our courses have been developed to a very high standard over the last 18 years. Creating and delivering ceremonies, whether a funeral, a naming or a couple ceremony, is a big responsibility and requires in-depth training. Therefore, the training we offer is not available in a shortened format or by distance learning alone, neither is it combined with any other qualifications or courses.

Remember that the training you will receive is the very best possible and the qualifications are the highest available. You will be able to promote your services in the total confidence that you have been trained and fully assessed as competent to conduct ceremonies and provide a high-quality service to your clients.

Civil Ceremonies Ltd is both a NOCN and a One Awards Recognised Learning Centre, providing training to a nationally recognised standard.

In 2019 we were delighted to receive an Award of Merit at the Matrix Standard Awards in the category for ‘Defining, delivering and improving the Information, Advice and Guidance to customers’ category.

Our Training Philosophy

Our philosophy is very simple. We believe in providing five key elements in all our training courses:

  1. To provide delegates with the highest possible level of knowledge and skills.
  2. To issue high quality course materials which are easy to digest and can be used for reference after the course.
  3. To provide you with as practical an experience as possible.
  4. To provide excellent value for money.
  5. Ongoing support – we are always there to help you after your training.
